NFM is dedicated to achieving professional equity and advancing academic freedom for all adjunct and contingent faculty in American colleges and universities through advocacy, education and litigation. NFM seeks the greatest possible degree of economic justice and academic freedom for all faculty and is committed to creating equitable, stable, non-exploitative academic environments that improve the quality of American higher education.

We need your help to aggressively pursue this agenda.  NFM is seeking to establish and maintain its headquarters in Akron, Ohio near the campus of The University of Akron.  Since we are not presently charging for membership in NFM, we are relying on individuals like you to contribute to our worthy cause of achieving professional equity and advancing academic freedom for all adjunct and contingent faculty in American colleges and universities.

Challenging the status quo will require a substantial expenditure of resources.  We have already made quite a bit of progress, and every dollar that we receive is used judiciously in the furthering of the organization's mission and purpose.
